Data Protection

Welcome to the MÄURER & WIRTZ GmbH & Co. KG website. Thank you for visiting the website and for your interest in our company. This data protection statement applies to all the websites for which MÄURER & WIRTZ GmbH & Co. KG is responsible.

Data Collection and Data Processing
We do not require users of our online service to input personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail, etc.). We automatically collect and store on our servers only the log files information your browser sends us. This information comprises:

- browser type/version
- system software used
- referrer URL (last page visited)
- the host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
- time of server request.

This anonymous data ensures it is not possible to determine your identity. The data is analysed for statistical purposes in order to optimise our internet presence and our offer. Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily communicate this to us. This might happen, for example, as part of assigning a service order. In this case, too,
your data will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties. Likewise, no connection is made with any of the access data detailed above.

Use and Dissemination of Personal Data
If you ask us to provide a service or send a product, your personal data will be used without your separate agreement only as far as is necessary to provide the service or implement the contract. This includes, in particular, passing on data to transport companies, credit companies or other service providers deployed in delivering the service or implementing the contract.

Our web page uses cookies. A cookie is a text file that is sent when you visit a web page; it is buffered on your hard disk as a user of the web page. If the corresponding server of our web page is accessed again by you as a user of the web page, your computer’s browser sends the previously received cookie back to the server. This procedure allows the server to analyse the information received in different ways. For example, cookies can be used to manage advertisements or facilitate navigation on a website. If, as a user of the website, you wish to disable cookies, you can do this by changing your settings locally in the internet browser used on your computer, i.e. the programme for opening and displaying web pages (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Safari).

Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a Google Inc. (“Google”) web analysis service. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, i.e. text files which are stored on your computer and which make it possible to analyse your usage of the website. The information – produced by the cookie – about your usage of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and is stored there. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, Google shortens your IP beforehand within the member states of the European Union or in other states which are signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google uses this information to analyse your usage of the website in order to compile reports about website activities and to provide further services connected with the website and internet usage to the website operator. Google does not consolidate the IP address transmitted from your browser by Google Analytics with any further data. You can prevent storage of the cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, please be advised that if you do so, you may not be able to use all the functions of the website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from logging and processing the data produced by the cookie or related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin available via this link:
